Get started in three steps
Choose your books folder
The first time you open it, pick the folder where your books live. Nothing gets moved; each book is a folder inside it.
Connect your AI (optional)
Paste a key from Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter in Settings, or set up a free model on your Mac with Ollama. Writing, the bible scan, covers and building files all work without one.
A walkthrough runs the first time you open the app. The full Guide is in the Help menu and at /guide.
